Columbia Properties Capital was formed in 2008 as a vehicle to acquire distressed assets with investment partners during the 2008 Financial crisis. During that time, Columbia and our partners successfully acquired 10 properties totaling over 500,000 square feet and $50 million. Since that time, CPC's strategy has evolved to providing equity capital to quality retail developments in addition to Joint Venture structures with other developers that can utilize our capital and operational strengths as well as our original strategy of opportunistic existing retail acquisitions. At CPC, we have a decades long history of neighborhood retail ownership in the southeast, so we are able to lever our intimate market knowledge for the benefit of our investors. The principals of Columbia invest alongside our investors showing our belief and commitment to each project.
