Columbia Retail Management, Inc. takes a comprehensive approach to the management of our client's properties. To us, property management is much more than just collecting rents and sweeping the parking lot. It involves the development of an overall long-term strategy for the property that meets the client's objectives. Our seasoned professionals are able to implement that strategy leveraging off of the 100+ years of collective experience of the CRM staff. And because we are a smaller company, our clients get the benefit of the hands-on attention of the senior members of our staff. We utilize a state-of-the-art management and accounting software system that can provide comprehensive, customized reporting that meets the specific needs of our clients', large and small.
CRM was founded with the goal of becoming Atlanta’s premier neighborhood shopping center leasing and management firm. Our clients can leverage off of our seasoned leasing and management professionals’ experience to maximize the value of their investment properties. We work with our clients to customize a strategic plan tailored to fit each investment objective, and utilize our vast network of national, regional and local tenant relationships to make sure our clients achieve those objectives.
Experience
Columbia’s professionals are veterans of the shopping center business, leveraging off of the experience and tradition of our sister company, Columbia Properties, Inc (“CPI”). A fixture in the Atlanta shopping center development scene since 1981, CPI has developed more than 70 retail properties in the metropolitan Atlanta area and throughout the Southeast. The principals of CRM have an average of over 20 years of experience in all facets of the commercial real estate business including development, leasing, management, construction, maintenance and acquisitions.

CRM’s particular expertise lies in our intimate knowledge of neighborhood shopping center management and in-depth understanding of what it takes to make a retail property successful. We’re experts in all aspects of neighborhood center operations from development and ownership to leasing and management. Our expertise has been forged over the past 30 years developing, redeveloping, owning, financing and managing millions of square feet of retail properties in the Atlanta market and throughout the Southeast.
