Since our inception in 1981, Columbia Properties has developed more than 70 retail shopping centers throughout the Southeast. Each development has its own challenges and the experience that has been accumulated by our team over the years has assisted us in developing a process to ensure a well received, quality development every time. Retail shopping centers are only as strong as the community they support. Before beginning a development, our team gets to know the retail dynamics of each neighborhood within a trade area. We then diligently engineer, design and construct the shopping center to match the local retail demand. This diligence has resulted in a long list of completed developments, of which we are very proud, and our company being named one of Atlanta's most active retail developers in 2011 Atlanta Business Cronicle.
